Our

STORY

Dawn and Chris created the series "Stories of the Gullah Geechee Children" to educate others on the unique traditions and culture of Gullah Geechee people; who are direct descendants of enslaved Africans that were bought to coastal SC, GA, NC and FL during the Trans-Atlantic slave trade.

The series also promote pride and provides a look into the Gullah Geechee community through the eyes of our children. It is our mission to bring awareness to the our vernacular and traditions because our language and culture is real. There would be no American history without Gullah Geechee people.
This series will also be used to bridge the communication gap between our children and the people who interact and educate them. Therefore, we dedicate this series to the Gullah Geechee children to commend their contributions to our community and culture.
